Today I joined my local Rec. Center. I started off with a 55 min. spin class. It was killer but I loved it! I kept thinking about the pin on Pinterst, " Sweat is Fat Crying " hahahaha! There is a reason they tell you to bring a towel :) I can't wait to keep going. My goal is to go to the gym 3 days a week.

Last Day of January!
Can you believe that January is over??? It seems like yesterday we had Christmas! Time flies huh??? I feel like this has been a great month and I have started some great goals that will help me become a better person for my life time. This month I read 3 books, I worked out almost every day. I have ate healthier, and I have spent a little more time with my kids.

If feels so good!
I am only down 3 pounds :( BUT . . . I have really lost inches and I can feel it in my clothes, my arms have muscle! My but is looking a little better and I can feel my abs!!! I would love to be down 7 more pounds in 2 weeks, and I am sure going to try! But, loosing the inches and gaining the muscle is just as important!
I have ate pretty healthy this week and last week. This week I am really going to cut out sweets. So for breakfast I had oatmeal, I put a sprinkle of sugar on it, because plain oat meal is gross. So I am going to look for some ways to spice up my oatmeal and make it healthy! For my snack today I ate a handful of plain Almonds and an Apple. I am drinking about 64 oz of water a day, and I am hoping to get that to about 90 oz a day.
My tip for working out - I work out 30-45 min in the morning. Then I work out all day long, by cleaning something then do 10 squats or 3 push ups, 10 sit ups. If we go shopping I don't care if I get the first spot, I walk from the back. I turn on some music and have a dance party with my kids, or dance when I am cleaning. It has really helped my energy level stay up and it does not take away another 30 min of my morning.

I did this!
This was part of work out yesterday. It really was good. It was really great, but I did not feel sore this morning. So I think I need to do a little more or do them better ;) You can't get to this web site today, without becoming a member. :(

Beet Smoothie
I am on a journey to loose 10 pounds by Feb 14th. So today I started out my healthy eating with a healthy smoothie! It was not a GOOD smoothie but it was healthy!
1 Apple
1 Yogurt ( strawberry banana )
1/2 beet
Grape Juice
Slice of lemon
1/2 cup frozen Orange Juice
I don't like the taste of beets, so I think it ruined the smoothie. But it was healthy so I drank it! I think it would be better juiced not blended. It did look good through, bright PINK!

Books
So this morning I finished the Hunger Games series. Such great books. I was hooked after the first one. I think the Hunger Games is my favorite. The other two are really good. But are really sad and kinda depressing. I almost felt like no matter what things could never get better for them. It was great to get wrapped up into something other then a TV show and I have really enjoyed reading more. I can't wait to start my next book.

My Junk Drawer
So I was looking at my house, and yes its clean (sometimes) but there are places that are not organized! So I started with my kitchen and re-organized the whole thing! It looks great and its so much easier to get to things! But, my Junk drawer was last and it was so full, that we could not open it without it getting stuck and or we could not close it! It was SO FULL! Anyway, I got some cheap baskets from wal mart and I organized my Junk drawer for about $2.50! So it was worth the money! I threw a bunch of stuff away, found the "real" place things belong and am going to keep this Junk place clean!

Cleaning my Washer!

So this a pin I found on pinterest and I did not see that my Washer was so GROSS! So I did what it said. I ran the washer empty by putting Vinegar in the Bleach and Fabric softer spots and about 2 cups into the water.

I did it right!

This is a funny pin and today it really applied to me! Today I worked out really really hard! I will hit my goal! I have a goal to get to 150 by my 30 day challenge! If I work out like I did today and eat like I did yesterday I should have no problem doing it! Today I did weights and pole dancing. I have a feeling my abs are going to hurt tomorrow!

1st New Years Resolution Down!

Read more . . . I did not read ONE book last year so this year I have finished my first book and I have accomplished my first goal! But, I want to keep reading and I enjoy it when I can find the books that really get me involved.
The book I read is the Hunger Games. Because the movie comes out, everyone was talking about it so I thought maybe this would be a good place to start! I loved it. I really loved it! I can't wait to read the next one. When you talk about the book its a little sick, kids killing each other for food, but when you read the book it seems, like that is how its suppose to be. I could not put the book down I read it in 2 days! I stayed up last night reading till 2 am. I thought there were a couple parts that dragged a bit, and I wanted her to really be in love with Peeta, so we will see what happens in the next book. (that I am starting now)

My new 30 day Challenge
So I was on BODYROCK.tv and did the first fitness test.
Here is my score!
Squat Jumps - 22
Push Ups - 3 ( super weak at push ups )
Push Up Jump Ups - 8
High Knees - 74
Lunges - 12 ( 6 on each leg )
Knee Jumps - 10
Sit Ups - 15
Everything you time for 50 sec and count how many you do! I probably wont do all of her work outs, because I really like some of the other things that I am doing. But I took pictures and I will take after pictures in 30 days! Lets see what I can do in 30 days. I have really been working out almost every day, this week and it feels great! I can tell a difference in my attitude and in my strength to do things. I am really getting some arm muscles! Along with this fitness test I did weights and some leg work outs! My goal to 140 pounds, is on it way! Today I weighed in at 160 :( 5 pounds up from October! But I can do it! I will pass what I was and get to 140 before May. Hopefully before that! I want to wear a swim a suit and not be embarrassed, I want to run and not feel like I am jiggling. I have struggled with an eating disorder and I will not go back to that! I am going to loose weight the healthy way!
